Bible Journey at Holy Family

Thursday 9:30am-11:30am or 7:00pm-9:00pm.

Bible Journey is a year round program which encourages participants to talk about the richness of our Catholic tradition in the context of Bible Study. Whether you have attended previous Bible studies or you are a newcomer, we welcome you to this unique experience that combines lecture and small group discussion.

Fr. Bob Erickson, ACTS of the Apostles - The excitement of Pentecost enlivens the early believers in their struggles to establish communities of faith—struggles surprisingly like those today.

  • Outline includes:
    The Risen Christ and the Restoration of Israel in Jerusalem
    The Mission in Judea and Samaria
    The Inauguration of the Gentile Mission
    The Mission of Paul to the Ends of the Earth

Fr. Bob Erickson, C.S.V., a member of the Clerics of St. Viator, currently resides at the Province Center of the Clerics of St. Viator in Arlington Heights, IL. Fr. Erickson holds a bachelor's degree from Loyola University Chicago, a master's degree from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He studied at the Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambrige, MA during a sabbatical year in 1991-1992. Fr. Erickson continues to give retreats, parish missions, and scripture workshops.
