Actually I was praying more than ever about everyone else on the planet. But I didn’t pray about my own walk with Him. I became Martha instead of Mary without even realizing it.”

Imagine that you are Dr. Luke, a Greek physician. You heard Paul teach and became convinced that Jesus is the Son of God. Now you want to put Jesus’ story in words for others to read and believe. Jesus’ agenda is love and peace. He came to set captives free and to give sight to the blind, but he also refused to accept dishonesty or hypocrisy. He won’t tolerate injustice. What would it cost a person to become a follower of Jesus? What does it mean today? We are a diverse group of men and women who gather to read and reflect on Scripture.
