Catholic Scripture Study

Catholic Scripture Study is an ongoing evening lecture series for a general adult audience. All sessions are held at Holy Family Catholic Community. No prior experience needed. Presenters are experts in their field. Courses are up to four consecutive weeks. Embracing the Cross, A Look at the Gospel of Mark l

May 1, 15, 23, 29, 2008 (no class May 8), Fee: $40
In these four sessions, Fr. McIlhone will trace the reinterpretation of the notions of Messiah and Son of God as it is presented in the Gospel of Mark. This will show the significance of the Paschal Mystery for the understanding of the Gospel of Mark both by the early Christian community and Communities reading the Gospel today.
