Mission Ministries Events Getting Involved

The Adult Faith Formation community of Holy Family Catholic Community exists to evangelize through invitation, by creating adult education and formation opportunities of varying commitment levels that will meet the needs of the diverse population within the parish, as well as attract people from outside the parish. We seek to make disciples and equip leaders, who will themselves continue the evangelization process.

School of Ministry

The mission of Holy Family’s School of Ministry is to deepen reverence for the Scriptures (II Timothy 3:16-17), and offer opportunities to read, study and understand the written word of God, thereby giving people an opportunity to draw closer to Jesus Christ, the living Word of God. By creating adult Christian education opportunities at various levels, we will help adult disciples of Jesus Christ grow in the understanding of the sacred writings and traditions of their faith.

Marriage Enrichment

The mission of the Marriage Enrichment ministries of Holy Family parish is to strengthen couples in the sacrament and vocation of marriage, to encourage them to invite God to be the third strand in the cord of their marriage (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12), and to keep our vows to support our baptized children as they are raised in the church. By offering marriage preparation and various marriage enrichment ministries, we acknowledge that the home is the basic cell of the church, and that when we strengthen marriages we are strengthening the church.

Spiritual Renewal

The mission of the Spiritual Renewal ministries of Holy Family parish is to invite people into ever deepening relationships with God through Jesus Christ. We will encourage everyone to take their devotional lives to the next level, to whatever God might be calling them, and to desire to make that deeper relationship something that lasts their whole lifetime. By offering retreats and other Spiritual Renewal ministries, we try to create opportunities for ongoing conversion and reconciliation with God (II Corinthians 5:17-21), as well as opportunities to establish and improve the “horizontal” relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
