Spiritual Companioning (also called Spiritual Direction)
Facilitates one's faith journey.
Assists individuals in articulating their God experiences.
Provides a safe place for people to have their stories heard.
Is open-ended on the individual's needs.
Who is companioning for?
Anyone who is searching for relevance in God.
Those looking for a place and space to share their stories and faith journeys.
Those who are experiencing life's transitions, and even at times, seeking God even when it feels like God is distant.
Who will companion you?
Lay people from the Holy Family Community.
People trained in Spiritual Direction/Companioning and knowledgeable about Christian spiritual practices.
People committed to their own faith journeys and spiritual development and who also meet regularly with a Spiritual director of their own.
What a companioning session might look like?
Typically meetings are held once a month for about one hour.
The first companioning session will be provided at no charge.
There is a range of fees based on the individuals' ability to pay.
Prayers and conversation are centered around your needs and your life journey.
