Beginning January 17, the new topic will be "The Fruit of the Spirit: Cultivating Christlike Character. We learned about love, joy, peace, patience . . . " as we prepared for Confirmation, but are we really enjoying those qualities in our daily lives as adults? Great Passages of the Bible
Tuesday, 7:15pm. Meet weekly at a home in Arlington Heights near Northwest Community hospital. Jesus' Sermon on the Mount was much more than a collection of Blesseds and an extended metaphor involving salt and light. Come explore how these qualities illuminate our pathway toward the Kingdom of God and offer both comfort and challenge as we live out our calling as His children. A Weekly Bible Study Group for Women
This new year we gather as women, wives, widows, mothers, grandmothers, from all walks of life and all experiences to share and mento each other as we study scripture and learn how we can become anew. This ongoing Women's Bible Study meets weekly in the Green Room at Holy Family Catholic Community.
We will begin studying the book by Joanna Weaver, Having a Mary Spirit: Allowing God to Change Us From the Inside Out. In this book the author directs your gaze past your own shortcomings to the God who stands ready and able to make a new woman out of you.
