Rite of Ephphetha - By the power of its symbolism the ephphetha rite, or rite of opening the
ears and mouth, impresses on the elect their need of grace in order that they may hear the
word of God and profess it for their salvation.

Easter Vigil Practice: Catechumens, Candidates and Sponsors_

PlPlease be in the Chapel by 8:45
All godparents, sponsors are expected to attend the rehearsal.

Easter Vigil:
Please be at the church by 7:00pm with sponsors. All parties must be in the
Chapel by 7:30 for pre-Vigil prayer and last minute instructions.
There will be reserved seating for family members of the catechumens near the
Baptistery. You may invite family members, including godparents/confirmation
sponsors, friends,to sit in these areas. All other elcet will have reserved
seating with you around the church.
catechumens will need both robes - brown and white, candidates will need white robe
