Holy Family Neighborhood Ministry
Many Caring Neighborhoods…..One Caring Church
How to become a Neighborhood Minister
As we continue to make Holy Family a true experience of community, volunteering for Neighborhood Ministry gives you an opportunity to make a big difference, to our Parish and your neighbors, with a moderate time commitment.
Neighborhood Ministry encourages welcoming of new parishioners, communication between Holy Family members, home Masses, and social events. We have 20 “neighborhoods” headed by Neighborhood Coordinators. Each of those has 10-20 mini neighborhoods, tended by their own Neighborhoods’ Representatives. We need additional Representatives in all areas and Coordinators in some.
Neighborhood Representatives’ Goals:
Once each year:
- Make contact at least once with each of your assigned Holy Family parishioners.
- Help Coordinate a Neighborhood Mass and invite your friends and your assigned Holy Family parishioners.
- Help coordinate a social event and invite your neighbors and your assigned Holy Family parishioners.
Daily: Remember your neighbors in prayer.
