USCCB in
June
2002 for addressing allegations
of sexual
abuse
of minors by Catholic clergy.
The Charter also includes
guidelines for reconciliation, healing,
accountability, and
prevention

- Virtus Training...
What is Virtus?
Virtus is a program that strives to promote awareness and prevention of child sexual abuse. Every catechist and volunteer working with children and teens is required to complete a three hour training session. To register and for more infomation on training sessions, click on the following link. http://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/reg_list2.cfm?theOrgID=18958&theme=0
After attending the training your Virtus account will be activated by the Office for the Protection of Children and you'll be assigned monthly training bulletins as part of ongoing education and awareness on how to protect children.

please check the Virtus website (see link above) for other locations offering the training. Nursery is available, when sessions are held at Holy Family, however RSPV is required 14 days prior to session.
