7 Principles We All Need to Know

Several years ago, I came across an article that stated seven principles that every youth needs to know.  However, upon reflection, these principles seem to be applicable to all of us.  Read them and see for yourself!

  • Authentic Faith:  God can be trusted; He will do all He has promised to do.
  • Spiritual Disciplines:  When you see as God sees, you will do as God says.
  • Moral Boundaries:  Purity paves the way to intimacy.
  • Healthy Friendships:  Your friends will determine the direction & quality of your life.
  • Wise Choices:  Walk wisely.
  • Ultimate Authority:  Maximum freedom is found under God's authority.
  • Others First:  Consider others before yourself.

So, what do you think?  Could these principles help you as you navigate your life?

If you or someone you know may benefit from counseling (in English, Spanish, Polish, or Tagalog) or spiritual direction, call  (847) 981-3514 or email interfaithsupport@alexian.net to get more information or request an appointment.
