Attendance Policy

• Teens are asked to arrive 5 minutes early to each session to allow themselves enough time to check in and be in their small group by the starting time.
• Attendance will be taken at each session. Teens who are absent or tardy need to call 847-907-3470, before the session start time and leave a message. Please include the reason for the absence or tardiness and the name of your teen’s catechist.
• To assure the safety of all our youth, those youth not present and without a phone excuse, will have their homes called by a meeting assistant to verify their absence.
• Teens who are enrolled in Celebrating the Spirit and frequently absent are asked to review the missed lessons with their families and to write a reflection on that discussion.  Parent's are expected to review the essay and to sign it at the end.
• We understand that some families have many obstacles in their lives such as scheduling around a custody or dealing with a family illness.  If you have such a situation in your family's life, please let us know so we can respond to your teen's special situation.  We are more than happy to work one-on-one with your family to create a program that works for you.
