Holy Family will host a food drive for the Faith Feeds Food Pantry after all Masses on November 15 and 16. Due to the government shutdown, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) will stop providing essential food support to nearly 2 million Illinois residents beginning November 1. This will place a heavy strain on local food pantries as they work to fill the gap left by lost benefits. Just in September alone, Faith Feeds Food Pantry served 1,430 families — including 7,480 individuals. Holy Family has always stepped up in times of urgent need. Please be generous at our upcoming food drive on November 15 and 16. For more details, visit the Faith Feeds Food Pantry webpage on Holy Family’s website.
