Faith on Fire provides peer support, community, continuing faith formation, socialization and discussion on topics relevant to older teens. It’s a great way to stay connected at Holy Family and continue to grow in your Catholic faith after Confirmation. FoF is an accepting place where teens can share their ideas and feelings openly. The last two years of high school bring new experiences and challenges. Our faith can be a powerful tool in facing these and this group provides a wonderful community to support that.

As Kairos Alums, we try to live out each day of our lives as the “4thday” of the retreat – intentionally for God and with the spirit of all we learned in our hearts. Because we understand the day-to-day strains of living as a Christian Leader in today’s world, we gather once a month in support of each other and our unified goal of “living the 4th.” Join us for shared witness, prayer, conversation, comradery, understanding, encouragement, and renewal.

Partnering with Catholic Heart Workcamp, teens participate in a week long summer service trip. The mission is to revitalize communities and beautify homes for the elderly, disabled and those who cannot afford needed repairs. This experience will empower participants to live as Disciples of Christ through serving others and foster the spiritual growth of each participant through the sacraments, Catholic faith sharing and prayer. And it’s a ton of fun too.

The National Catholic Youth Conference is the celebration of Catholic youth in the United States, typically drawing up to 25,000 young people and adults from all over the country. NCYC includes an amazing variety of opportunities for our young people to experience an encounter with Jesus Christ and His Church. There are large general sessions with nationally known speakers, music, and Mass. There are rounds of smaller workshops and opportunities for prayer. There is also an interactive thematic park for hands on experiences and the opportunity to mingle with teens from all over the country.

Teen Mass provides a dynamic liturgy with a contemporary teen guided and directed spirit.  Teens are the Proclaimers, Eucharist Ministers, Cross Bearers, Gift Bearers, Singers, Musicians, Greeters, and Ushers. Homilies are geared more towards the teen audience and a student delivers a personal Gospel Reflection to the congregation each week. Reignite your passion for the liturgy, get involved in the Mass, and join us up front in the teen section!
