Description
This new energetic faith ministry is designed for students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades in keeping with the local public schools’ new direction. This dynamic program is the Jr. High version of Life Teen called Edge but we are keeping our fiery name, Ignite. This ministry includes large group activities, games and teachings yet maintains the small group discussions by grade. Ignite meets on scheduled Sunday evenings starting at 5:15 pm with small groups led by adult facilitators ending at 6:45 pm. Jr High Students will enjoy the activities, fun and friendships as they explore the richness of their faith, do service projects shoulder to shoulder and discuss social issues. Along with the volunteer adult leaders, Ignite also has peer minister leaders (older High School Teens). Ignite Jr High students are also asked to attend and participate in our multi-generational FM Masses (Family Mass) as part of their regularly sessions per the Ignite Schedule below.
