Ministry Description

Assist a Family Program where parish families donate holiday food and gifts to disadvantaged families three times per year.

Creation Care Ministry remind us of our common home and responsibilities shared to care for it and all who live on earth.

Disability Accessibility Ministry:  A.C.T.S. invites people with disabilities into full community with the church by effectively addressing access barriers and supporting an appreciation for disability diversity.

Emergency Assistance Provides short-term financial assistance and resources to those in need.

Faith Feeds Food Pantry  provides healthy foods to underserved individuals in the Northwest Suburbs of Cook County. The Food Pantry is located at Partners in our Community (POC) on Rand Rd and the Pantry on Wheels allows us to expand our service area and reach people with limited mobility.

GCFD Produce Mobile for Holy Family
Coordinated by the Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD), the Produce Mobile offers free, fresh produce to the NW Suburbs on the 2nd Thursday of each month.  It rotates each month to one of these 5 churches: Holy Family Parish, St. Thomas of Villanova, St. Emily, St. Colette and St. Edna.  For more information about the GCFD, visit https://www.chicagosfoodbank.org/

A member of the Spring of Life Partnership of the Northern Fox Valley Affiliate of the International affordable housing organization

Holiday Sharing
Program provides holiday gifts and school supplies for disadvantaged individuals and families.

Hopeful Beginnings  A child welfare agency providing assistance for unplanned pregnancy, adoption, counseling and more.

Hospitality Provides food and drink after Masses to encourage community building. Also provides hospitality for special occasions and events.

Job Support Open to all who seek support and guidance in the pursuit of employment.

Lenten Social Justice Projects Prayer, fasting and alms-giving benefiting a specific cause.

One in Love (LGBTQ+) Dialogue and faith sharing supporting all sexualities.

PADS
PADS stands for Public Action to Deliver Shelter. PADS is a program within the “Journeys | The Road Home” organization which is a county-wide homeless support outreach effort based in Palatine.

Summer Suppers Provides an evening meal to those experiencing hunger once a month from May through September

St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly Home for economically disadvantaged elders where they are cared for with love and dignity.

Viator House of Hospitality provides compassionate accompaniment of young male immigrants seeking legal relief.

Welcome Welcomes new members to the parish and provides guidance to members and visitors regarding Holy Family’s activities and campus.

Welcome The Stranger invites us to make a journey to become better informed on our call to welcome the asylum seeker, immigrant, migrant and refugee in our midst.
